There are two important things to say about Celeste:
First: This game is great.
Second: This game is incredibly hard.
The story is about Madeline, who wants to climb the mountain Celeste. Why? Well it's compicated. Not even she knows it really herself. Oh and yes the mountain has somehow spiritual strenghts and let's you see unreal things Like your evil half.
Omg I loved the story How can a platformer have such a touching story?
About gameplay: You have to go through many really short levels, if you die (or better as soon as you die) you have to start all over again. Luckily there is no game over screen. You are just beeing teleported to the start of the level.
Through the main game it actually never frustated me. I always knew that i made a mistake even though the controls are sometimes really tricky.
But then chapter 8 and 9 come in. I gave up in 9 when they told me I have to go through the whole thing again plus the B side Chaoter which are also pretty much impossoble.
