A solid continuation of the Payday series. Does a great job of scratching the stealth heist itch in the same way Payday 2 did (and in many respects improves upon that formula from a gameplay mechanics perspective). At-launch content is certainly lower than where Payday 2 was after many years of updates and DLC, but still a decent amount of variety and clear variation in terms of mechanics that can be expanded upon for future heists. The skill system has some interesting tradeoffs in it, using 3 buffs as a common currency between different skillsets, and it'll be interesting to see if it's further expanded later on or left in its current state, but allows reasonable variation in its current state. The challenge system for XP is fun if you like that sort of approach to progression, but less conducive to a grind-oriented mindset.
