The first Mario game that truly has felt magical and captured everything I love about the series since... idk Odyssey? Maaaybe Maker 2??? It's been years! Feels like Odyssey in that there's a million different ideas and gameplay gimmicks all colliding into one another and the game never once loses steam. Perfect runtime, and endlessly fun!
