I'm personally not really a multiplayer kind of guy so I'll just review the single player campaign.

Boy the campaign was an absolute JOY. There are so many mechanics that are introduced for a few levels that all bring something new and unique to the whole experience. This is in addition to the base movement mechanics of wall-running, sliding and an infinite and fairly fast sprint. There are a ton of weapons that all have a different feel to them and there's a decent variety in the type of enemies even if most of them are seen throughout the campaign. The Titan segments were also really cool and a good break from the movement since they move fairly slowly and are lumbering giants but you feel like such a powerful force of nature when you use them. There's a fair few loadouts that would fit a bunch of player archetypes and there's a fair few levels that require the Titan including all the bosses. I wish at least one or two bosses were actually just normal pilot bosses instead of them all being Titans but that's a small complaint. The campaign is fairly short at 5-8 hours but they're pretty jam-packed with very little filler and not many long elaborate cutscenes. The story itself is unmemorable nonsense that's completely throwaway but it works as a setup to get you to go through the scenarios. The biggest achievement of the campaign has to be how successfully it makes you care for the Titan which has its own personality and charm. There's actually not much dialog in the game but what little there is especially between the pilot and the Titan really works.

I highly recommend this especially for the campaign but I see that the multiplayer has been given a new lease of life on Steam so I guess you could get it for that too
