for what it is, tunic deserves more hype. it perfectly massages that part of the brain that wishes to be decades in the past, staying up without any company aside from a game manual

i came into it expecting it to be difficult so i didn't really feel that it was unnecessarily hard. not dark souls level but to the point where it feels like you're grinding out a challenging boss. nothing feels artificial and as you explore and master the game it gets much smoother
