you have crush the castle 1 and 2 which are fun. both of these games played a big part of my childhood

i obtained all the achievements legit and i will say the first two games are still great as ever, the third one, crush the castle adventures, not so much, hence why the three star rating

ctca has awful performance issues and the lag is pretty evident. i played it on a gaming computer and the original game itself is 10 years old at this point. one thing i have never seen anyone mention are the very obvious few preset paths for your projectiles. you can be clicking at something else and you can see the trebuchet very obviously lock on to a fixed path. makes the whole thing completely hellish. from this you can very obviously see your projectiles hit the literal exact same spot over and over again. afaik this was not evident in the first two games

i got gold medals in 95% of the levels in ctca only because some of the levels are downright completely rng and i was even genuinely surprised to get the gold in some of them. some of them require stupid objectives which may require you to play the level again to get it, some of which i think are completely impossible due the performance issues and very obvious use of preset paths. funny enough i didnt see any of that while watching videos of the flash version, which i actually never played

at the current pricepoint they should have not only fixed all the issues with crush the castle adventures, but they definitely should have included/readded the editor, which was also a very fun part of my childhood with this game, and i feel it was negligent not to include it.

if i didnt know about these things beforehand (the game is not talked about much in general) i wouldnt have paid more than $5 but whatever. if you are a crush the castle sperg and dont care to play the third game i would slightly recommend it but if you are a veteran at the game you can get all golds in both games in about 2-3 hours (this includes the time to beat the players packs too)
