I finished Silent Hill 2 and I can see why this game gets so much praise. We play as James Sunderland who is looking for his deceased wife in silent hill. There is no cult anymore but the town is the same, filled with monsters that reflect the guilt of james. We still have tank controls but you can use the thumbstick to move around which is a plus but I got accustomed to using tank controls. There are different difficulties for the game and for the riddles. I chose normal difficulty for both. The riddles were not as hard as the first game and I didnt not have to look up where to go as much as I did in the first game. This game rewards you when you explore the current area you are in with ammo and healing items, by the end of the game I had a lot of shotgun and rifle ammo leftover and healing items. Again this game has different ending, I got the “in water” ending and that is what usually everyone gets in their first time playing but you can get 3 different endings called “leave”, “maria'', or “rebirth” and there are 2 joke ending being a dog playing a game or aliens. Can't wait for the remake.
