Drama aside, I believe Poppy Playtime featured a satisfactory introduction to the game and it's core mechanics. The theme of the game was presented fairly early, with a decent execution at the time of the enemy appearing, giving me a fairly good scare. The visuals are consistent throughout, and really do present the feelings and vibes you'd get from 'abandoned toy factory', and generates an overall good atmosphere. Gameplay focuses on puzzles and logical mechanics, which are fun. Combine these puzzles with a constantly-existing yet looming threat, and I can already tell the game will be significantly improved. Will play Chapter 2 in due time.
