Pico Park is a cooperative puzzle game developed by TECOPARK and published with PICKLOCK. The game is designed to be played with a group of friends, with up to eight players who are able to work together and solve puzzles and progress throughout the selection of levels that Pico Park offers.

While the game is enjoyable and can be a fun way to spend time with friends, it does have some issues that prevent it from being a standout title. One of the issues is the lack of variety in puzzles. While there are a decent number of levels to play through, many of them feel very similar, with players being tasked with moving boxes or pressing switches to progress. This is understandable given the game's minimalism, but I do think there is still more than can be done to expand on this game.

Despite this minor issue, Pico Park can still be a very fun and engaging game to play with friends. The puzzles, while repetitive, are still challenging and require some cooperation and communication to solve. The ability to play with up to eight players is also another great factor, as many games do not offer support with more than 3/4 friends these days.

Overall, Pico Park is a decent cooperative puzzle game that can be a fun way to spend time with friends. While it has some issues with variety and direction, it still offers a satisfying puzzle-solving experience for those who enjoy working together to overcome challenges, and having a good laugh with some friends.

Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wildlands is an open-world tactical shooter developed by Ubisoft Paris and published by Ubisoft. The game puts players in control of a team of special operatives, tasked with taking down a powerful drug cartel located in Bolivia.

While the game has its strengths, such as the vast open world and the variety of missions and objectives available, it also has some weaknesses that prevent it from being a standout title. One of the biggest issues with Ghost Record: Wildlands is the lack of depth in the story and characters. While the game's premise can be regarded as interesting, the execution falls somewhat flat, with extremely forgettable and irrelevant characters, and a predictable plot.

Another issue with the game is the repetitive gameplay. While there are a variety of missions and objectives to complete, many of them feel very similar, with players simply traveling to a location, taking out enemies, stealthy or not, and then moving on to the next objective. This lack of variety can make the game feel monotonous after a while.

One thing that assisted me here is unlocking the 'Unidad Helicopter' through the vehicle-pick-up-whatever-the-heck missions, it made travelling much easier.

The game's strengths cannot be ignored however. The vast open world is admittedly impressive, with a wide variety of environments and terrain to explore. While the story and characters can be lacking, the focus on teamwork and tactical gameplay is well-implemented, with players being able to coordinate their attacks and utilize a variety of gadgets and weapons to take down enemies and objectives, which can be upgraded as you progress.

Overall, Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wildlands is a solid game that offers multiplayer fun, and an engaging experience for fans of tactical shooters. While it may not be the most innovative or memorable game in the genre, it is still worth checking out for those who enjoy the exploration of vast open worlds and engaging in tactical combat.

Seriously though, bring a friend. Made the game so much more enjoyable. :]

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is an action-packed spin-off of the Metal Gear Solid franchise, developed by Platinum Games and published by Konami. The game puts players in control of Raiden, a cyborg ninja who must take on a variety of enemies and bosses using his powerful sword and lightning-fast reflexes.

As someone who played Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance before the recent resurgence of hype around the game, I can say that it's a hidden gem that deserves more attention than it received upon release in 2013. The game's frenetic combat is both challenging and rewarding, with a deep combo system that allows for a wide variety of attacks and strategies. And with a colorful cast of characters and a plot that delves into some surprisingly deep themes, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is a game that is sure to keep you engaged from start to finish.

One of the game's standout features is its 'blade mode', which allows players to slice through enemies and objects with surgical precision. This mechanic not only looks cool, but also adds a layer of strategy to combat encounters, as players must choose where and how to strike to maximize their effectiveness. And with a variety of weapons and upgrades available, players have plenty of options for customizing their playstyle and finding the perfect combination of attacks and abilities.

Playing the game before the recent internet hype also gave me a unique perspective on the game's strengths and weaknesses. While it's true that the game has some flaws, such as a sometimes frustrating camera and a story that can be hard to follow, these issues are far outweighed by the game's strengths. And with the recent surge in popularity, it's clear that more and more people are discovering what a fantastic game Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance really is.

Overall, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is a must-play for fans of action games and the Metal Gear Solid franchise. With its fast-paced combat, unique mechanics, and engaging story, it's a game that is sure to leave a lasting impression. And while the still semi-recent internet hype has certainly helped to bring the game back into the spotlight, I'm grateful for the opportunity to have replayed and enjoyed it once more.
