In my review of the first game, I stated that the game could include heavier emphasis on fear-factors by having existing looming threats during puzzles which was featured in this chapter. The game took a mild step up in terms of gameplay, but it's a shame to see some of the sections feeling rushed, as they can easily be 'cheesed' with abuse towards a lack of working enemy AI, whereas you are instead met with scripted chases, with very streamlined content, which can lead to: bugs. Many, many bugs, with quite a few impacting the gameplay, especially during chase sequences. The game also featured unintentional clipping out of the level due to wall-hugging (as I was trying to get the optimal pathing) to escape the enemy. There's a spelling error in the credits too on 'technical' but that's just a nit-pick. The game feels clean and complete, just not truly polished. There's no shine to the gameplay that truly allows it to stand out from the first chapter, just more of an experience to be had through chapter length and newer features. Good concepts, better execution, just nothing that special from the first.
