Like the previous game, I was shocked at how much is here that later games would bring back. Basically every major copy ability is already here, as are most recurring enemies. I was also pleased with how generous the game is with checkpoints, especially given its age. The biggest issue I had was that the massive slowdown that occurs in many places also increases input lag, meaning I got hit a lot for reasons out of my control. Not too bad though, and a fun experience all in all.
