The game is grounded a little more in reality than the first game, but it's just as surreal and menacing. I appreciated the continued narrative and musical composition, as well as the smoother gunplay. The surprises around the corner are far fewer, and that's appreciated, because they were just as frustrating (in terms of getting the timing right) as they were frightening.

Worth it on sale, probably wouldn't pay more than $5 for it though.
