I did not enjoy this one. The story was OK and all but the gameplay is really messy. Combat is just a lot worse than the second game. They made a weird decision by removing the ability to defend yourself. You cannot take proper covers anymore, you cannot deflect anything and you don't even have a shield! The game throws you into the middle of the combat area and expects you to dodge bazillion attacks from enemies. Also, readability is AWFUL and most of the time the screen is cluttered with particles that blend in with the environment, so you CANNOT anticipate any attack that enemies throw at you. Combat nearly made me quit at the beginning of the game, it genuinely pissed me off.

Other parts of the game are ok. Traversal is fun but not perfect. The idea of having multiple powers is cool but not executed well. You mostly end up using one power for a long amount of time until the game forces you to change the power. It would have been really cool if the game lets you change your power at any time you want. That would have flowed really well.

I don't know, my experience was not good with this game. It has a lot of baffling design choices that make the game a lot worse than its predecessors. This will definitely be my last time playing this game. If you want to play this series, but do not have a PS3, don't even bother in my opinion. With an okay story and bad gameplay, inFamous Second Son failed to meet my expectations. A 5/10 is starting to sound too generous as I write this review.
