Definitely the most overrated installment. 2-3 is the worst chapter in the series, the ending has plotholes, and most of the characters' depth is exclusive to free time events and never shown in the main story. Characters like Hiyoko were on track to receive development but were instead replaced by characters like Sonia who had no arc at all. The only character who was properly developed was Fuyuhiko. The game clearly wants us to care about Chiaki (shameless waifubait to the point where it makes me uncomfortable) but her personality stays stagnant. Nagito was an interesting villain, and I loved his role in chapter 5, but his actions in chapter 1 still make absolutely no sense. There was also a part of the game where Nekomaru was just removed from all screentime for seemingly no reason? Akane and Kazuichi had potential to develop but their arcs were never fully realized. I just think the story is not up to par with the first game and the presentation is not up to par with v3.
