I love Galaga type games and this one is alright. the more interesting mode was the Challenge mode that included:
- Get X amount of powerups
- Survive 5 waves
- Kill 50 enemies
- etc.

Pretty simple Platinum, all you need to do is get 100k points in classic mode (easy), 10k in time attack mode (easy), 1k in hardcore mode (extremely easy), beat 12 challenges and kill certain enemies which will happen automatically as you are playing through the levels.
