Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course not only gave us more of the addictive gameplay and challenge that it’s known for, but it also adds to it in creative ways thanks in part to the new character Chalice who shakes up the formula with a double jump, roll and parry dash. Adding to that are new weapons and charms and my favorite, the addition of King’s Leap which I absolutely loved. King’s Leap will have you fighting a variety of enemies where damage can only be done with the parry attack and is some of the most fun I had with the DLC.

Cuphead has cemented itself in my top 10 games of all time as my son and I have poured over 200 hours into this incredible title. You can only imagine how much we have been looking forward to The Delicious Last Course since it was announced years ago. Now that we have beaten the DLC multiple times I am happy to report that the amazing Canadian team at MDHR (had to plug my home country here) exceeded my expectations.

I can easily say that the bosses in The Delicious Last Course are some of my favorites in the entire game and Chalice will be a character I am looking forward to testing against the remaining bosses.
