Dropped, but might revisit

Games that I didn't think were inherently bad, but contained particular flaws that weren't compatible with what I was looking for at the time. Maybe I'll find myself in the mood for the type of 'grind' they offer in the future, or an update might ease some of the issues I had, but the chances are probably unlikely.

Beautiful game, but it's not the type of game I'd usually play and there was too many signs of poor design elements, particularly around UI.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance
Kingdom Come: Deliverance
I want to love this so much, but there's a bit too much jankiness for a game as modern as it is, and the save system is just absurdly stupid.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
It's a technical marvel for the Switch, and I can easily see why it's so beloved. However, I can confidently say it's just not for me - the 'exploration first' approach to game philosophy does not flesh well with the general emptiness of the overworld and repetitiveness of minutia, and the combat systems & puzzles aren't enough to sway me long enough to think otherwise.

There's some interesting systems under the hood here but I'm really just not enjoying the way the RTSWP is implemented. I still plan to play Deadfire though, so this is on this list in case that inspires me to give this another go.
