The allure of the game's amusing premise and genre choice sadly wears thin quickly given the game's repetitive and monotonous level design, flawed structure, and difficulty curve that's all over the place.

Matt Stone and Trey Parker didn't get to provide much creative input on this one and Comedy Central and Acclaim kinda forced Iguana to get it out the door in time for Christmas 1998. Stone and Parker weren't really pleased with the results, but the series has gone on to bigger and better things with video games in recent years luckily, at-least with The Stick of Truth.
