Not a huge fan of the monster hunter format (I only played because I love Code Vein and, y'know, shared universe) and the gameplay didn't thrill me, but I will say as a lover of found families this is basically Found Family: The Game. Also a huge fan of post-apocalyptic stories and explorations of human experimentation, so that's also good. Big fan of the plot and characters; enough to muddle through gameplay I didn't adore and still enjoy the experience all right! It is EXTREMELY anime; power of friendship and tropes and all that. I love that shit, but if you're not a fan it's probably not for you.
