Mirror's Edge is a classic, and still has high replay value. It feels so so good to play and improve, and shaving seconds off your level time is insanely fun. No game quite scratches the itch, including the sequel.

The other thing that makes it so excellent is that it knows it's a parkour simulator first and a story second, and leans into that; the plot is fairly basic but still compelling, and it doesn't bother giving a ton of backstory to the characters because it doesn't need it. It doesn't need super long levels that would just slow it down. It just needs to feel good to play and look gorgeous, and it does both spectacularly.
