No other PS2 game even comes close to look half as beautiful as this game. Gameplay is unique and interesting, if a bit easy once you figure it out, the setpieces when walking around made me shed a tear, even on the starting town you can see how breathtaking everything looks, exploring the towns is a joy even if there's not much to actually do besides lurk around. Every random house is unique in it's modeling, it's honestly insane. Wish it had the old Einherjar recruitment system but i don't mind that much. Music is equally stunning, of course, Motoi Sakuraba did it again.
10/10, disregard naysayers
