Paradise Killer nails almost everything it tries to do — its deceptively powerful traversal systems and secret-laden world, its incredible world design and hyper-stylized vibe, its interwoven conspiratorial mysteries gated in a way that allows them to feel unexpected but never inexplicable. But its conversations between Love Dies and its various characters left me wanting more: wishing, really, that those characters and relationships as had been as well-systematized and secret-filled as the world they inhabit.
