legend of legaia had a better plot, more heart and better atmosphere. legaia 2 has nothing to do with the 1st and has a significantly less compelling story. the "origins" are not as interesting as the "ra-seru" and not being able to capture any monsters is a huge downgrade. this game is very plain in many aspects. even yasunori mitsuda's musical score couldn't give it that extra oomph. despite all that, it still has a special place in my heart.
