A charming little game that really puts the "children's picture book" into "visual novel." I enjoyed the illustrations and the simple plot, which feature a tanuki taking a stroll to pick wild vegetables on the way to cooking with their fox friend. There was a bit more of a choose-your-own-adventure element than I expected. I particularly liked how the author included descriptions of the vegetables that tanuki picks and how those picks influence the menu at the end.
