Iconic, landmark game for good reason. Took me some time to adjust to the tank controls and Resident Evil-core characteristics (this is the first RE i’ve played) but once I settled in I had a tremendously good time. Great example of a work being elevated to near-perfect territory just on the strength of rock solid design and mechanics. Everything else is just the cherry on top.
