I thought people who said this still had the best swinging were just putting their fingers in their ears and overdosing on nostalgia pills, imagine my shock when I revisit it in 2021 and it actually does.

Probably Bioware's best. Really unique and has very solid writing.

Combat isn't great but everything else about this game is amazing and it still stands up today. The overall plot (and even some of the sub-plots) have better writing than most of the Star Wars movies. The force alignment also means that your choices and 'morality' actually affects gameplay, such as improving dark or light force powers rather than just affecting how people react to you which makes the game replayable with different decisions and combat styles.

Nothing wrong with it, I think I just missed the boat here

This game is pretty solid. The characters are all pretty likable, the gameplay is solid, and the story while a bit basic is still fun to go through. I only stopped playing because I lost interest in the source material for the time being. I’ll come back to it some day.

Amazing RPG in the Star Wars Universe.

Solid RPG, decent characters, basic story till the big reveal. Darth Malak without a mask is pretty spooky.

don't remember much from it, but the gameplay and story was great. The implementation of Dark/light side made you think about the decision over the path you were going for.

Best Star Wars game ever made. Even though others think it hasnt aged well I think it has aged like fine wine. I love the combat, the story is better than any of the movies, and HK is in it.

The game that got me back into gaming as a teen. The choices, world building, characters, and music were all legendary. Warrants a play through on dark side and light side. A little dated now visually and mechanically but still timeless.

This is absolutely one of the Star Wars games ever made

I really hope that Rian Johnson is indeed doing an Old Republic adaptation so he can capture on film my favorite Star Wars moment: Revan spamming Force Wave at Darth Malak for 13 damage at a time to keep him trapped in a stun animation and then running around the arena so her force meter can regen.

the entire reason, to this day, that i am into star wars and rpgs. its absolutely phenomenal

There's Star Wars. And then there's STAR WARS.

it's about as boring as the movies. this is a great adaptation
