First thing that hits you about this game is the early Souls-like combat which feels really good for a game of this age, and comes out especially in the boss fights. For a stealth game this game is very generous with its stealth mechanics. It doesn't give you a lot of information on enemy field of vision, but once you understand that your ninja's movement is almost entirely silent and the enemy FOV is very narrow sneaking becomes less crouching and crawling and more hooking from roof to roof and front flipping around guards to stealth kill them like some kind of psycho Spiderman. The music in this game also rocks. There's a multiplayer mode for the Xbox version which is a little fun to fuck around with. The roughest part of this game is the lack of checkpoints which when coupled with some of the longer levels or levels with instant death pitfalls can make some portions frustrating.
