well it's a remake of one of my top 10 favorite games of all time that adds new content and lets me play it on something other than ps2 emulator so it wasn't ever going to be less than 2 stars unless they went out of their way to ruin it. i haven't actually gotten around to all of the new content just yet (still focusing on other games for right now, i'll probably add a section about royal reverie at the bottom once i get around to finishing it) but the content from the original game is still there and still great and still my preferred way to play some katamari.
there's a lot of people who prefer the original's ost, and good news! there is a music pack with tracks from the rest of the series. but of course there's also bad news, it's like 20 bucks or whatever which is kind of ridiculous, especially since it doesn't even have que sera sera. i'm a crazy person who slightly prefers we love katamari's ost anyway so i'm not super bothered, and there will almost for sure be mods to alleviate this issue in some way if other games ive played with dlcs like this are anything to go by. katamari on the swing is like the best song in the series anyway so you at least have something to hold you over until something about the music stuff progresses mod wise

at the end of the day it's still katamari. i love katamari, you love katamari, we love katamari.... everybody loves katamari damacy! so there's no reason to not check this one out
