this game is so wholesome, and it let my partner & i build something together, and everything is just so nice & lovely. you just water flowers & befriend animal cuties & send letters to your friends. i always used to think it sounded boring but it's not it's just... so, so good.

we're pretty sure we lost our island when our switch died. we sent it to the nintendo repair center & i guess there's some small hope it could come back with the island intact, but we're reasonably sure it's lost :( and we went through actual grief over this. we loved our island so much, and we love how it helped us express our love for each other.
