The sheer amount of physical, emotional, and mental trauma that the playable character receives escalates and continues so much that it becomes almost comedic. I just couldn't continue to take it seriously.

I mean, Blake DID go nuts if you read the comic, so it certainly took a toll on the guy.

+ When you're on "survival mode" it's very easy to overlook whatever bizarre shit is going on and just focus on getting the hell outta there.
