Finished the stories in the first two zones, played about 20 hours.

This was good! Wish there was a bit more narrative to latch on to, or that the random companion events and stories were a bit more interesting.

Combat is simple and fun, despite there not being a ton of options, it still feels like there are tactically significant choices to make.

Survival systems are interesting! Can definitely see how it could be stressful if you're running thin, but once you hit a certain level of money everything becomes easy. Wow. Deep.

Game crashed and I lost about about a months worth of social links and dungeon progress in the second to last dungeon, so I might just give up and not finish this, but I had a lot of fun with this!

Main cast is great and all the corny slice of life stuff is fun!
Hard mode was actually a challenge, especially compared to P5, which was great. There was just enough friction to keep me from just autopiloting through fights.
Story was great, loved the murder mystery. The framing of everything as TV was better than P5's phone app stuff.
Saw the twist coming, but felt like it was executed well! Everything after October/November was just great.
Most of the non-party social links were boring, but I loved Nanako and Dojima's.

had a great time with this

liked the different fighting styles a lot. I felt some of the encounters actually encouraged me to switch to different styles depending on the situation.

Side stories were fun, but the friendship meter things got boring after the first 5 or 6

the vibe of this is fantastic, it's entirely let down by mediocre encounter and mission design

very disappointed the studio has apparently been gutted! they're so great!

Will an action RPG ever have a good final level? Only time will tell

It's Mid Christmas baby, and Santa Todd delivered the presents

Going to rank and list some thoughts on the faction storylines as I do them. Main wish for all of these is for more scripted side quests/stories associated with each faction. The procedurally generated fetch/destroy quests all suck.

1) UC Vanguard - Fun Aliens-inspired action/mystery storyline
2) Ryujin - Would have been 1st if stealth in this game didn't suck! Wish there was a bit more depth to your corporate competitors or w/e.
3) Crimson Fleet - Pirates! Wish they were written as more than just violent greedy people.
4) Constellation - The Main Quest. It was fine, until the finale, which was a lot of fun.
5) Freestar Rangers - boring, rushed, bad. A series of conversations that just lead to a big hallway shooter section. Great rewards tho.

Buggy, incomplete, but still great.

I said incomplete, but honestly the DLC adding cut content back into the game adds almost nothing to it. Some of that content was cut for a reason (it sucked)!

Great art style! Love the big monster you live on, he's perfect

fun stuff! probably the best character work in the series

good stuff, combat becomes kind of boring in the last two chapters, which apparently happens in most bioware games

the twist still hits, but the final two areas really drag! the dlc yavin stuff kind of breaks the game too!
