I've taken a long hiatus from the Pokemon series since Gen 4, but followed up on some updates regarding the next Gens. I've became interested in Pokemon again, so I chose to buy this game on my 16th birthday (December 2019).
SwSh is a "meh" game as a returning player. I could care less about the Natdex removal, and the easy difficulty can be tolerable for younger kids who are new to the Pokemon games; it's more of the graphics that piss me off the most.
In my opinion, the idea of an open-world Pokemon game is like a pretty neat concept, but the whole game itself looks rushed.
The only good parts I liked the most were the somewhat-alright soundtrack, the Pokemon Camp, and Galarian Corsola. (I know the last part seems petty, but Corsola is a fav Pokemon of mine.)
