I have started playing more games again recently so that's been nice. :> I played through this with a friend on his arcade cabinet.

Like a lot of arcade games, starts off very pleasant and smooth and then at some point decides it just wants all your money. Still a very fun time with the all the systems that are in play.

There is a lot to learn about how these systems work and I feel like me and my friend still ended up never figuring out how equipment worked lol. You have three menu's to cycle through while fighting which can be pretty tough but I kinda love that.

The character differences are actually not that large but they certainly don't feel like that. They can all do most tasks but they specialize nicely. Co-op play seems very much needed though for this to actually show up. The ranged characters are great at crowd controlling while the melee ones wade in and they usually juggle characters together that way. Magic is used for dealing with large crowds too although some of the later bosses with their strange hitboxes also seemed to need that.

The later encounters and bosses get increasingly rude lol. Lots of one hit kills from the final boss too. It's kind funny but if I was spending money, I wouldn't.

The magic effects rule and the art in general is quite nice. The store UI rules so much even if the stores are mainly just useful for health. The voice clips are very charming as well.
