iidx series as a whole is the pinnacle of rhythm gaming, it's too bad Konami owning the IP means it will die a slow death

A lot of questionable decisions for a rhythm game. Tries to be all of them at once and ends up not being particularly good at being any of them. The beatmaps for osu!mania are not very interesting, most of the good creative mappers still just play Stepmania.

Hard to deny this is one of the most visionary games of the last decade despite its troubled past with development, the creator having possibly stolen the entire idea and game engine, and the purchase by Microsoft leading to some questionable decisions
