If you loved God of War (2018), you may end up loving God of War Ragnarok even more. It manages to outdo the former game in so many ways, and for me the growth of both Kratos and Atreus was incredible to watch and satisfying. You will find the mechanics very familiar, the puzzles and boss fights are there, and one of the fights later on is so damns satisfying. It should be game of the year, but I can settle for it just being so amazing in so many ways.
