I don’t think I’ve ever loved and hated a game so much.

Good game, it got like 3 connections to the actual movie. It has some good scares imo. The pause menu is a banger, but the soundtrack as a whole is good.

the real horror is finding out how much potential this game had and how much it actually delivered

filthy, angry ass game, contrasting against 2's elegiac tone and pensive, guilty feeling

i dont really get why l4d2 is seen as such an amazing game. maybe its just boring cause i dont have any friends but to me it doesnt seem like that special of a game

Played this non stop summer 2017. Now the game is bloated as fuck just like Payday 2 and other games with 1 million DLCs. Less is more because nobody's going to no life a fucking novelty multiplayer game.

Being a pro DBD player is like being the best at Uno.

Took 8 MONTHS to beat this sluggish disgrace of an entry, at least homecoming was somewhat laughable.. this was just utter pain for 70% of the time

Why haven't I heard of The Evil Within before? This is a game made just for me! A wonderful combination of disturbing Lynch atmosphere with fantastic gore straight from classic horror films or Wan's productions. And the prologue itself is one of the most interesting openings in games. Wow!

How can you make a game feel so bloated and empty at the same time?

What am I doing with my life? All this time spent ironically praising shitty games including this one and now people are unironically gassing up generic survival crafting game number 74,963. That settles it, from now on the words “peak fiction” will never leave my mouth ever again!

i had to put aside my biases and play this despite the fact that it's blatantly ripping off lego fortnite's gameplay mechanics. My thoughts? It's really early access. It's less buggy than i'd expect and honestly has more content than i'd thought, but the gameplay loop is honestly pretty lame. The pals automating the work in your camp is a really cool idea and i can see it becoming self sufficient and satisfying lategame, but in terms of being an actual open world pokemon game it leaves some to be desired. Like, sure the designs are good and it's real time combat and its fun and everything, but you don't control the pals. You attack alongside them which is badass but i'm trying to catch this pal so i got him at 1hp and my pal just does the killing blow without me asking. Sometimes the pal won't attack at all. The AI is busted and janky and i'm honestly not sure if they'll stick with this long enough for it to finish early access and become good. I did manage to catch a human in a pokeball which is f#cking hilarious. I named him kenneth awesomepants (after my iconic baldurs gate 3 character) but he did no damage and couldnt do any camp work so ironically he was the mascot. Has potential. Wait til full release.
