Resident Evil 2 Remake may not delve into complex narratives, yet it compensates with possibly one of my favorite combination of gaming & horror ever. The atmosphere was crafted to pure perfection, creating a world of such eerie soundscapes and horrifying designs that goosebumps became a constant companion when exploring every bit of it. It’s haunting in ways I've never experienced before. The unpredictability of the enemies also serves as an effective source to heighten the tension, keeping players on the edge of their seats throughout. The puzzles were challenging but never frustrating, a delicate balance that the game strikes wonderfully, while the level design always remains captivating as it is terrifying. It’s honestly just a thoroughly excellent achievement in all areas of gaming, enough said.
