The level design is so all over the place, it makes this game really unfun to play; I'd rather play Sonic 1 than ever play this again. Great music though.

Yes, I say this with no exaggeration. I really do not like Sonic CD outside the music.
understandable. I have my issues with Sonic CD (Wacky Workbench fucking sucks) but I also love a lot about it. Sonic 1 is just really fucking boring IMO
It's not that Sonic 1 is great or anything, but I do have a more nostalgic attachment to it as well vs having none for Sonic CD
