While a pretty lackluster "HD" port compared to the Wii U ones, and even though it's absolutely not worth $60, I'd say this game is still worth picking up if you want to give Skyward Sword a fair chance. The game runs smoothly and looks sharp as ever. The mere fact Fi was toned down makes this version worth it.

There's also the new button controls which surprised me. As someone who never had major issues with the motion controls in the original (heck, I enjoyed them), I liked the button controls enough to play the entire game with them. Using the camera was a little awkward, though, and I wish there was a way to customize that.

I'm focusing solely on the aspects of the port for this review but note that I've always really liked Skyward Sword. For me, what it does well really outweighs its flaws (as numerous as they are). If you've always wanted to give it a try, this here is the definitive version to check out.
