This game has been circlejerked into oblivion, and for good reason

Yeah no, the circlejerk continues to this day on r/gaming. It's not even a meme, just a reddit moment.
Again, this game receives no more no less love and circlejerk than any other popular critically acclaimed game, all this fixation on shitting on this on in particular (not you) is getting tiresome and pathetic.
In fact i just went right now to r/gaming and have not found any circlejerk thread, actually i found one for Arthur's eyes. Muh Arthur amirite?
Lets face it, without the r/gamingcirclejerk hate trend this whole meme would have died like 3 years ago, when it should, the time CDPR stopped being a loved company.

Just to make it clear, I'm not against criticism and the game has its share of flaws, i just disagree that this game and only this game is held on a pedestal and treated as the best thing ever, that was maybe around the 2016-2018 period when CDPR was at their peak glory and everyone liked them, after 2020 things changed, right now i would argue games like God of War, Red Dead Redemption 2, Elden Ring, Bloodborne, Breath of the Wild and probably The Last of Us are as much circlejerked if not more, and the cult around them is even more obnoxious and annoying than any Witcher 3 fandom you might encounter, after the Cyberpunk blunder, most CDPR fanboys went quite.
Sorry for ranting and going off-topic, this was my take on this, i know you didnt ask but i find it genuinely annoying how every now and then a smartass comes in and writes "reddit game" and "hidden gem" like piss off you are not funny anymore.
Again sorry for ranting in your review, but i was venting, we share similar tastes.

People have fallen to the bait and jerk of r/gamingcirclejerk and it shows. This game receives no less no more love and praise than the game i mentioned above. This meme is outdated, its like 2016-2018 period.
