Tried out since it went F2P. Can be pretty entertaining! The challenges vary in quality a bit. I enjoy most of the platforming challenges but don't care much for the "carry the penguin" or "memorize the fruit" ones. It gets a little too random/luck based at times, though that's the same for most battle royale games. Loading screens and elimination animations also slow the experience down to below optimal.

All in all, fun game from moment to moment, but I found myself walking away from matches irritated.

Can't speak to the microtransactions/battlepass, just applied some of the free costumes I unlocked as I leveled up.
