A pretty standard release of KOF. I don't really go back to 96 that often over the other games in the series since this one just kinda happens. It doesn't have anything super noteworthy about it in either a good or bad way. I do get this mixed up with Kof 97... It's just a kof game to fill that middle tier of kof games. Still, you can't go wrong with any 90's KOF game on the neo geo, so if you like fighters and wanna see what this is all about, give it a shot.
