like it is chill, it looks beautiful, it sounds beautiful, it brings to mind that good old "joy of movement", but it feels empty. for one the camera keeps interrupting you chilling out and enjoying movement to pan out and tell you "look over there". often levels tell you to pick up rings in circles too tight for you to get them all without slowing down and struggling with the camera, and idek what the message of this game is. by depicting both the city and country as places devoid of life, it misses what each are. the city is the world humans created, and that humans live in, not empty concrete and power lines. nature is not perfectly crafted meadows inhabited only by flowers, grass, and wind turbines-- it is a complex ecosystem that is as savage as often as it is magnificent. idk ... weird game.
