it's difficult because with everything this game has to offer for being a 2d platformer, its perfect, but i just can't give a 2d platformer a 10/10 as im not sure there will ever be one on par with the 3d games, albeit, this comes pretty close. I had no idea how they were gonna reinvent the wheel with 2d mario after Mario Maker 2, it felt like everything had been done, then the came up with this masterpiece. artstyle, music, themes, everything hits. the fact that there's a wonder flower on each level is insane, and it's far and away my favorite 2d platformer i've ever played.
