the sprites, scenery, and music are really nice. the exploration was pretty fun as well but my god, do the bads outweigh the goods.

the MCs are cardboard cutout goody two shoes who act exactly the same, the story was pretty boring, the combat gets super repetitive, and the writing in this game is not a strong point either. I was almost convinced Garl was the main protagonist because both of the MCs just do whatever he says without question. it also gets irritating seeing characters, Serai in particular, cut other characters off mid sentence over and over again. for the cherry on top, I was not a fan of the humor of this game.
