It did make some noise at the time, because it was DBZ, because it was a DBZ fighting game which, believe it or not, was uncommon (most DB / DBZ games at the time were adventure / RPGs / visual novels) - it had original mechanics like flying / split screen, but at the end of the day, it was pretty dull and uninteresting past the DBZ license with poor gameplay and non fun fights. Street Fighter II Turbo came out at the same time and was a better game on all counts.
