Good for a weekend... it's priced at BRL 299.90 on Steam and offers about 12 hours of the illusion of free will... if you explore a lot... I truly believe that this franchise lost its way some time ago. I must give credit to this game for bringing back the feeling of belonging from the first instalment, and also for its heavy investment in licensed music to heighten the excitement or emotional impact, depending on the context. However, apart from that, I wasn't impressed at all... I'd rather spend this money on something else and dedicate my weekend to watching some coming-of-age romance films from the 2010s.

Perhaps I should also acknowledge, in terms of social significance, that at the time of its release, this game was one of the few where the protagonist's bisexuality is explicitly written into the script, rather than being a player choice. The only other example I can recall is Fear Effect 2: Retro Helix (2000) on the original PlayStation, highlighting the lack of bisexual representation not merely confined to player choice mechanics in games where sexuality is not defined and is up to the player regardless of the gender they choose to relate to, which can be confused with bisexual representation. An example would be Cyberpunk 2077 (2020), where the romance mechanics are limited by the sexuality of the other characters available for romance. I value that kind of boldness, somehow...
