into the breach is absolutely brilliant and it knows just how to reel anybody in (whether you love turn-based combat or not). it's very minimalistic yet also somehow exceedingly intricate. the possibilities feel endless and there's so much variety in teambuilding, combat, etc.
it's perfect for a guy like me with Goopy Goblin Gamer Brain like me because pushing 2 bugs into the water (amongst the many other silly tricks you can pull off) never gets old, nor does the satisfaction ever dissipate.
i constantly felt challenged and stimulated, like i was playing an intense, universe-level-threatening game of chess but instead of Pawns and Horseys its Robot and Bug. 5/5.
