Went into this game mostly blind though I knew the basis of it. Solid game with an alright story; it's just very predictable.

Starts off a bit slow IMO as getting through the slums is kind of boring. Midtown is where it's at though; so many residents to interact with, stealth portions, small puzzles, it was great! If all of the settings were like there, this would be an easy 5 stars. I wanted a bit more life (I know, I know, apocalypse setting and what-not.) and places to explore.

Graphics also weren't as good as I was expecting. The cat was also a bit stiff animation-wise; looked like it was just frozen in place at some points.

Ending was sad, as expected, but I do wish we got to meet back up with our other kitty friends and that B12 got to be resurrected in some way, missed opportunities all-round.

Definitely missed some stuff so I might go back to do a 100% run when I'm more in the mood for a game like this.

Despite it's flaws it really does make you feel like a cat and having a dedicated meow button was so fun, especially cause you could still use it in most cutscenes. Would've loved other cat-related buttons too tho like sit, stretch, lick, etc. Just fun little quirks to do because it's cute.

Will play again.

7/10

I gave this game a 3.5/5 stars as well, but graphics weren't as good as you were expecting? What were you expecting? The texture detail and lighting is insanely impressive in this game, especially for such a small team.
