Genuinely i had So Much Fun w this game
It's so silly and goofy ??
It's a sequel to misfiction and i would recommend playing it first to better know and understand the player character, but there's a little recap at the start so it's fine if you don't
But oogh . The player character is The Worst (affectionate)
I kinda already thought he was horrid (affectionate) after playing misfiction ?? But he's So Funny and i'm a lot more fond of him after playing through mistrick
The gameplay is simple and straightforward enough. It's a standard rpgmaker game where you have to explore your surroundings and talk to different characters in order to progress the plot. It rewards players who interact with Everything in a way (it's Very easy to die and you get achievements for unlocking different death methods), and i had a fun time figuring out what everything does ^^
It can get a little repetitive though while trying to progress the plot :')
The story is also very fun !
It's short and not very complex, and i think the humor is what gives mistrick it's charm. I will say that it feels like it caters to a Very Specific sense of humor (there are certain jokes you have to be in certain fandom spaces to fully understand), but certain parts had me almost crying laughing

CHUNITHM MY BELOVED CHUNITHM <3 <3 <3
Of all the arcade cabinet rhythm games i've played, it's probably my favorite! It's a super fun challenge, and it's always so satisfying unlocking the master difficulty
The song selection is great too! There's a wide variety of songs, and anyone can find at least one they'll enjoy playing
Tragically the closest arcade w chunithm by me is almost an hour away by car, but it's well worth the trip. Getting to play chunithm is always a treat ^^

It's such a sweet little game. All of the characters are super fun and lovable, and I'm admittedly biased as a longtime fan of Miwashiba's art, but the character designs are all so interesting. They're all unique in their own way with their designs doing a great job at accentuating their characterization, and the artwork is So So So Pretty
It's really nice getting to talk to all of them in their own individual friend stories too! I loved being able to befriend every character and learning more about them
The game's endings too?
I finished it in i think 2019 and I still get emotional listening to the ending theme. I cried so bad during the good ending it was so sweet and it's easily one of my favorite game endings
I still think about the neutral and bad endings every now and again too .
The bad ending was tragic but the neutral one sure was an ending ( ;;^^)b
One of these days I'll get around to replaying 1bit :')
